Great blogs Mr. Taylor (damn, that sounds great ^^). The game looks great, wonderfull graphics, nice dragon. First I thought it was going to be like civilization, but now I see I was wrong (which is a good thing ^^).
Keep up the good work

Any chance of a higher resolution video? Blurry concept art isn’t as awesome as it usually is.
Is the tech tree like the tech tree in SupCom 2 where you research them, or like SupCom 1 where you unlock via building a new building?
Also, I hope we don’t have to have the resources first to build a unit. I liked queuing up 10 Galactic Colossi even though I couldn’t afford them, then economy stalling.

Wow, the production values have gone way up for these videos. Are you sure you guys are working on a game right now?

Looking good! I can’t wait to see how this game turns out. The industry really needs a GOOD RTS title that us old school guys can get in to. I’m keepin my eye on this one for sure.

Been a fan since TA. I have faith in your vision. I also agree with “PoV” The old fluid economy was more fun/challenging to master. I think gamers will rise to the challenge. Hope you have Jeremy Soule cook up some epic beats for this game as well. Keep the blogs rolling.

wow you guys should redo the whole project on the unreal 3 engine, its udk is free you know..
supcoms engine looks horribly dated!
and no, even shader polishing and high def textures wont help because the models animations will still be stiff and life-like and look like toys…. -.-

hey chris, i love your video-blogs and i regular post them on gamersglobal.de (do you remember? that is the website you wished good luck in several videos). but shame on us, we just have one single picture of your new game on our site. would you be so kind and give us, and the rest of the world, some new screenshots? of course it also would be great if you could shortly greet our readers
, but probably that’s too much, isn’t it? nevertheless, good luck with your game, it looks quite good and i will continue watching your videos.

April 26th, 2010 on 9:14 am
sorry about the typo
April 26th, 2010 on 10:13 am
nice, will we be able to build something like a castle in this game? that would be sweet

Lookin’ good – especially the shadows on the trees. Do I spy a little Percentage Closer Filtering? Whatever it is you guys are doing, it looks good.
Also, toss a second vote in for Jeremy Soule. Great music for a great game? Can’t say no to that, now can you?
April 27th, 2010 on 12:14 pm
Looking good. Let’s say, 10% of the game finished?

Hello Chris. Totally awesome videos!!
I’m 42 years old and been a gamer for more than 25 years now. I play on the PC only and have a huge collection of original PC games (no pirated copies here). I hope the PC will stay supported as a gaming platform.
I have never seen such an interesting “behind the scenes look” into game development. I hope you will continue making these great video blogs. I find them very informative and very fun to watch – AWESOME work!
The game looks epic – very promising. Looking forward to it.
Greetings from Belgium.

Bah, I totally didn’t mean Percentage Closer Filtering. I mean split parallel shadow maps. Quite the draw distance and still maintaining those shadows!

So, are we actually going to see a really good game this time, or just another flop in a box?

You guys should just stick to game world. Create something that people can get lost in for a year.
Keep stitching those nodes!
