Oh and one more thing keep the combat system where for a hit to land it physically has to land. At the least with arrows, catapaults, crossbows, and other ranged weapons.
Also a macro-game for multiplayer would be cool. where you can progress through ranks and unlock new unit skins maybe or something as you level up. Or maybe even go a step further and have a giant world where people can place kingdoms and send their troops to battle other kingdoms. and these kingdoms and units stay between logins. Just an idea lol

One other cool mechanic could be some form of direct control like wasd/hotbar abilities for the super units. Honestly i am skeptical of how well this would work but it could be intersting.

oh and nothing about the game but for bronchitis i’ve had a few things work. A shot of whisky (opens up bronchial tubes), Echenicha with goldenseal (herbal liquid), or just hot tea lol

Sooo…. are you going to have a unit that will replant all those trees the “War Boar” so carelessly tore asunder?! In all seriousness though, I love the boar and suggest a large White Wolf to round out that Princess Mononoke vibe.
Regarding the trees, is that a resource? If so, could you potentially trample prospective timber with the War Boar?

I also agree with the ta/sup com resourse system and teirs. I’m not so keen on the upgrade units thing, (although upgradeing the king is so awesome) its just more exciting to see physical differences, for example tier 1 would be just a basic horseman, while teir 2 would be a fully suited knight, that would be the upgrade.
The castle looks sweet, some of these comments are becoming stupid with rogue farmers, investigations and setting up jailing systems, this is a war RTS not an RPG or sim type game.
I’m loving the scale of this game!

Is it possible to have some face to face combat between the Kings, backed up only by some chosen henchmen, not their armies.

Hi, I need to congratulate you on the blog you have created. I am learning wordpress now so Video Blog #20 Kings and Castles is like a free tutorial for me… lol I hear more and more people saying that working from home and paid surveys are actually an illusion. I think that they have been scammed already. This actually happened to me too on several occasions. I don’t believe all of them are. There are actually legitimate opportunities. As I have mentioned, this is a organization tool. It’s not only a miracle apparatus. It could easily change into yet another expense should you not put the time and effort into finding out how to take advantage of it.

How about Aliens, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, The UNRPSC ( United Nations, races and planets for Security Council) the reorganised United Nations with Aliens and Future technology and other races? That would be a great idea
